Faith, it Looks Like Something!

When a person say that they love someone, there is usually a record that would back up that statement. There is a giving side of love that should be able to be seen how a person gives or would give of themselves for the person that they love. God is the ultimate example, that He gave His Son for us. From an earthly perspective, most parents will do all they can to help a child that is in need. James tells us in James 2:2 that faith without works are dead. Works does not help us attain faith, but it is a product of our faith. One example James gives is Rahab. Something interesting about Rahab is that when she was first introduced in Joshua it was noted that she was a prostitute before her name is even mentioned (The prostitute whose name was Rahab). Although, every time after that her name is mentioned before the reference of her former occupation. Yet, it is encouraging that she didn't allow her former occupation to prevent her from having faith and helping the spies as they entered her city. How do you view your former life in comparison to now? Are you letting your past stop you from moving forward?
