Ripple Effect
When an object drops in a body of water there is a ripple that is created and repeatedly re-created. The definition of ripple effect is: a situation in which one event causes a series of other events to happen. Decisions that we make can have the same effect whether it is negative or positive. Whatever decision we make, we must understand that our decisions will not affect us alone. This reminds me of Jesus when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane praying. He understood that there was a bigger picture and what God's will was for His life. We could look at Jesus' life at any point and see ripple effects. I can't help but think about the ripple effect of Jesus dying on the Cross. He died, He rose, and He ascended to Heaven at the right hand of God. The truth is we still benefit from ripples Jesus started, today. Jesus is proof that the choices that we make do not just effect us. So the question is , what kind of ripples are you starting?
