The Father's Love

I grew up in a single parent household and went a large part of my life without my father in it. My mother did a wonderful job with her part, but she could not take the place of my father in certain areas. I don't care how many men step in to try to replace a father, the void of the father can never be fully replaced without God. It wasn't until I gave my life to Christ that I was able to experience a father's love. Not just any father's love, but the Father's Love. I love my kids, but I could never love them as much as God does. The beauty of the Father's love is that there isn't anything I could do that would make Him love me more. There also isn't anything that I could do to make Him love me any less. I mean, He so loved the world that He gave His one and only son so that everyone in this world who believes in Him shall have everlasting life (John 3:16). I am thankful to know what unconditional love looks like and it is something that I can strive to emulate to all that I know and all I meet.
