The Great Wall of Deception Part 2

Since we have established that we too can build walls, the question can be asked, "How do we stop the walls?". First we have to know that God desires us to have a renewed mind (Romans 12). I look at this from 2 aspects. 1) He wants our minds to be renewed (completely changed for the better) from the things that the world does that is not in His will and 2) He wants our minds to be renewed (completely changed for the better) from the things that we do, in this world, that is not in His will. Sometimes it's easier to see what's wrong with someone else before we see what's wrong with ourselves. (You ever heard a sermon or read a scripture and thought how it applied to someone you know before you thought about how it applied to you?)

While we are in the middle of our own minds renewal, which is a continual process, God can destroy the strongholds that come between Him and us (2 Cor 10:4). What are the strongholds...any imagination that is against the knowledge of God. That means that anything, in our minds that is not a God thought. And God says that any of these thoughts will be arrested and brought to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor 10:5). He also says that we can revenge all disobedience when we are obedient (2 Cor 10:6). Let me say that again, we can get revenge against our past disobedience by simply being obedient. It's been said, that it is never a wrong time to make a right decision. You want to stop the walls from being built in your mind...Make the right decision.
