Imitation Cheese Pt. 1

In my younger years growing up, our family used government assistance which is better known as welfare. I remember, one particular day, a gentleman came to our house and offered us this long box that was a little shorter than the size of a loaf of bread. The contents of the box was imitation "government" cheese. It looked just like cheese and even tasted like cheese at first, but when comparing the two, one could tell that there was something different about the imitation cheese that just was not right. The imitation cheese just does not quite taste like the original. In fact, anything imitation is not like the real thing no matter how much it first appears be like the real thing. The enemy does this with many religions when he attempts to make it appear like it's in the same spirit as Christianity. There is nothing equivalent to the Jesus no matter what it appears to be at first. The enemy is a master of Imitation and he will do anything to make it appear like the real thing, especially if it causes us to make the wrong decision. The enemy can only imitate, for example, he can only try to be a lion. 1 Peter 5:8 says that the Devil prowls around like a roaring lion. He is not a lion and the only Lion is the Lion of Judah, Jesus Christ. Imitation is not the real thing. Don't succumb to the temptation no matter how good it may look at first glance.
