What are you Seeking?

With so much going on with life, in general, at times it can be hard to find something positive in every situation. That's just the reality of it. With Christmas around the corner, it can be a little easier to be positive for many. Although, for some can be hard. There are some that don't have a family to celebrate with. Or maybe they do have family, but they are not on speaking terms. Whatever the case, it can be hard to find anything good in situations like that. There was once a time that I would rely on myself to find the answer and to try to cope with life’s issues. Today, in my toughest times I rely on the Lord for solace. It is Him that gives me peace in my most vulnerable moments. It is in those moments that I have been able to find Him. In those moments that I have been able to find Him. It is in those moments that He has been able to supply my every need and sustain me. In Proverbs 8:17 the Lord says, "I love those that love me, and those that diligently seek me find me." I love that Scripture. It says a lot in so little words. In it I am absolutely assured that I can find God anytime, as long as I am diligently seeking Him. When we hit those tough times what are we seeking? Or maybe the better question is “Who are we seeking”.
