The Fear of the Lord Pt.2

Proverbs 9:10 - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 8 and 9 are treasure toolboxes for wisdom. v. 10 lets us know that in order to even receive wisdom we must have the Fear of the Lord. My personal definition of the Fear of the Lord is not to be scared, but to simply to not want to disappoint Him. This healthy Fear gets us in the door to wisdom and will keep us from becoming complacent in our relationship with God.
